Thanks for the abundance of beautiful photographs! I clicked through ALL of them  and experienced (well, almost) the joy, the excitement and the appreciation of the gorgeous countryside in Japan, Australia, Maui etc. reflected in them. 

You have both embraced the culture in Japan, body and soul! The fire-swinging, the not-so-frozen waterfall, and some of the matsuri you mention were unfamiliar to me and you&#039;ve seen a side of Japan I have never experienced. That was wonderful to behold.  (The problem is, when we visit Japan or Hawaii I&#039;m obligated to visit every last one of our numerous relatives.) Your photos captured the spirit of the places and people in your travels. Thanks so much for sharing so much of yourselves!
